Top 8: Self Care
With all that is going on in the world currently, Self care is at the top of my priority list. Not to sound vain or anything but its important to take care of self first, so that everyone else around you will be good to go. Especially if you’re a mom. Here are my top 8 people, places, or things, that are keeping me sane and aiding in my self care regimen.
PAMPher yourself
My best friend Ashley, of 17 years, created a beautiful brand that specializes in self care. She even has a Self Care Sunday guide for you to make sure that you are taking care of yourself to the best of your ability. Her brand, PAMPher focuses on handmade, all natural self care products such as face scrubs, bath teas, and Self Care boxes that include FREE GIFTS of wine + wine glasses, chocolates, and scrubs.
I have the Turmerich Face Scrub and let me tell you, my face is always soft and radiant after I use it. So happy that I made the purchase.

2. Get Grounded
Grounding Yourself
Being one with nature is super important to your health—although we aren’t taught that in school—. The benefits of being able to be one with the earth are not only rewarding, but satisfying as well. Here are just a few of those benefits
Protection from electromagnetic fields (EMFs)
Help for chronic pain
Less muscle tension
Sense of calm
Improved mental clarity
Quicker healing from exercise-induced muscle pain
Faster immune responses
3. Repeat After Me
My homegirl Erin Julianna, former Eyes Like Pearls model, and Self Care and Health + Wellness Guru, created a beautiful series of affirmation cards. Repeat After Me are self encouragement cards that will give you a boost of confidence to be your best self.
Her Self Love Tool Box is a new product that she’s introduced to her audience and is now available for pre-order, today! Along with a restock of her affirmation cards (which I will be placing my order for!)

4. Kosher Wine
Kosher Prosecco
Anyone that knows me knows I enjoy a glass of wine here and there, and because I live off the grid, we need everything ordered in bulk. So as apart of Self Care, I ordered 5 different wines, 2 of each, from KosherWine.com. Cheers!!
5. Glow!
Glow! By Hands of Zion is an Israelite owned small business that offers face and body scrubs, oils, herbs, and candles. Everything is natural and smells really good. I recently placed an order for the Charcoal face scrub, Lemon Zest Candle and soap, and the a body soap.
The candle is indeed almost gone and smells so good and the charcoal soap is what I use before I scrub my face with the turmerich scrub from Pampher.

6. Relaxing

Corona Virus, Protest, more killings of unarmed “Black” men. Weather you believe what’s goin on , think its a conspiracy, or trying to remain unbothered, the fact of the matter is that its happening and subconsciously, is playing apart of your everyday life. Take a day or two each week to unplug. Unplug from social media, unplug from conversations about what’s going on, and just relax. Go get that massage you’ve been holding off. Go read that book you’ve been meaning to get around to. Whatever your form of relaxation is, please make time for it.
7. Bubble Baths

Bubble Baths have always been essential when taking care of oneself. No matter what you’re going through, ending a good or bad day with a nice bubble bath will not only relax your mind, but your body as well.
8. Get Baked on Cakes

If you know, you know. Sneeky Snacks is a brand ran by my good girlfriend, Alisha. It is an upscale edible company that specializes in infused baked goods. She has a good thing going here and the snacks are delicious. I am a returning customer and will always support. She has made baked goods that aren’t infused as well. So either way, snacks, especially when they’re “sneaky”, should def be apart of your self care routine.
