Jenna Ortega Understood the Assignment.

If there’s one thing I can appreciate…it’s Jenna Ortega serving us high end goth girl lewks on her tour run for her new Netflix series: Wednesday.

I mean, I don’t know how many times I’ve watched actors grace the carpet of their press tour, looking absolutely random and disconnected from their role. Like, what happened to the drama? Were they not present for class?? 🥴

Anyway, not only did I enjoy her look on the Netflix red carpet, I enjoyed her dark humor and sense of style in the series.

This Versace dress and its top stitched Bralet accompanied with the finest lace, and what appears to be crushed silk, is tailored to perfection on Miss Ortega.

Costume designer Colleen Atwood, kept Wednesday donned in black. So it was no surprise that she fell in love with an all black Alaïa dress while window shopping.

It was my favorite piece of the entire series, and after seeing pictures of it and watching it move so gracefully, you can understand why.

All in all, I give Ortega’s overall style, and the series, a 10/10.
